Reverse Pitching = Idea Exchange!
Conference Hall VIVA, Technologická 376/5, Ostrava - Pustkovec
Are you looking for fresh ideas for your innovative project or do you want to get involved in shaping groundbreaking solutions yourself? Enter a world where business and research are intertwined! Come to Reverse Pitching – an exceptional format where researchers and companies present their ideas (challenges) to students to work on together.
Why join us?
☑️ You will get a unique insight into the latest research projects.
☑️ You will learn how to convert academic ideas into business opportunities and prepare them for commercialization.
☑️ You’ll meet experts, colleagues and students who share an interest in innovation and entrepreneurship.
☑️ If you present your own challenge as a company or researcher, you will get new ideas, perspectives and partners to solve it.
…And you’ll get some practice in English, which will be the official language of the event. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, 16 October from 15-18:00 in the conference hall of the Viva building in the Ostrava T-Park.
Reverse Pitching is part of the activities implemented in the LabZero programme.
More information and registrationStudents, companies, researchers and experts in one place
The programme will have two parts
A theoretical and a purely practical one.
☑️ Researchers and companies will briefly present their projects related to current challenges in technology, environment, health and other industries.
☑️ Students will then select a specific challenge and engage in a table discussion on how to turn the project into a viable commercial solution.
☑️ The students and the company/researcher will be joined by an experienced mentor who will advise them on how to keep their feet on the ground to ensure the ideas will stand up in the marketplace.
☑️ Reverse pitching doesn't stop there. Afterwards, students will also attend a three-day BOOTCAMP where they will work intensively on their solution.
